Dona Nobis Pacem

PEACE
...when the kids have gone to bed and the house is quiet.
...when, at daybreak, you realize that it is a weekend and you can go back to sleep.
...when you finally remember the name, or song, or whatever, that has been eluding you.
...when you gaze upon a sleeping face.
...when the only sound heard is the wind thru the grass and trees.
...when you clasp a comforting hand.

...when you witness a dynamic sunrise or sunset.
...when you bow your head in prayer or meditation.

...when the weapons are silent.

That will be a deep silence, indeed, JoeyJo.

What a moment to ponder.

Me. Here. Right now. said...

I like the idea of a big old gigantic, ginormous pile of weapons, no longer usable. I'll host the first bonfire, but someone - please check the chamber to make sure the ammo is removed, huh?

Here's to peace.

Margo,
Almost hard to conceive of a non-violent world...how sad.
Lori,
Checking the chambers, good idea!
Sounds like a trick, don't it?!

Peace, Be.

Mimi,

To be only a grain of sand in your peace ocean is a high honor.
Thank You!
